Former Social Security Administrator Martin O’Malley Joins John Cavanaugh for Social Security Town Hall

Omaha, NE — Former Social Security Administrator and Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley will join John Cavanaugh for a town hall focused on addressing the Trump Presidency risk to Social Security this Thursday, August 14th. 

As the Trump Administration continues making cuts to Social Security that make it harder for hardworking Americans to access their benefits, O’Malley and Cavanaugh will speak out about the importance of securing Social Security for generations to come. 

The event is open to the public and the press.

Democrat John Cavanaugh is a current State Senator and candidate for Congress in Nebraska’s second Congressional District. Polling shows John has a 21 point lead in the Democratic primary. John is running to lower costs, protect healthcare and Social Security from the Trump Administration’s attacks, and fight corruption.
